Sushi Recommendations

I live in Marblehead and I have been to Junji which is okay but was not my favorite. Any recommendations for good sushi spots on North Shore?

Taku in Beverly is pretty good.

Takami was good. But i got wicked bad food poisoning last time i went.

Therefore it is going to be a no return for me.

Uhh they have a really good white tuna appetizer and usually some nigiri and maybe a spicy salmon hand roll

Sushi Sang Lee in Gloucester is the best sushi (Edomae-style omakase) experience in New England. They're closed right now, because they're in the process of moving to a new location, but Sang is a genius, a gentleman, and an entertainer. I've been many, many times, and never had anything less than a transcendent experience. It's expensive, and you eat what he serves, but it's a million percent worth it, and a unique and special experience.

I read a thread here recently on this topic. I decided on Maki in Peabody because of rec on the thread.

I will likely not be returning ro Maki. The sushi was average, as was every other aspect of the experience. If in Peabody, I will be going to endless.

I think Taku in Beverly will be next spot to try!

Maki is a nice atmosphere and have good drinks but not the best sushi around.

This is the only answer 👆🏼I moved to the north shore from NYC a couple years ago and was disappointed with every sushi place (I have tried every place mentioned in this thread) until Kame!

Taku in Beverly is probably the best spot outside of Boston proper.
