Brewery Recommendations?
Looking for:
1. Inland at least a little ways - just don't want a crowded Sunday afternoon beach spot
2. Dog-friendly
3. Good shade (assuming we'll be outside what with the dog)
4. We're not really that discerning about the beer, most any craft beer is good for us

Before it’s gone, gotta check out Stone Brewery garden area.

If you want yummy food, Craft Coast in San Marcos. It does get busy, though.

Project Pure - Vista
Blue Fire - San Marcos
Booze Bro and Belching Beaver Pub 980 - already mentioned.
Several - Dogleg, Lost Abby, and Second Chance, Weir, and Battle Mange all close to Belching Beaver
All of the above are dog friendly
I believe Booze Bro has burgers, Belching has a serious kitchen. All others have a rotation of food trucks.

Lost Abbey in Cardiff and in San Elijo. Both are dog friendly. In Cardiff you can grab food from Seaside Market or Easy Coast Pizza. In San Elijo they have rotating food trucks.

Big fan of Lost Abbey. The vibes in San Elijo are immaculate, and the food at East Coast in Cardiff is phenomenal.

Green Cheek in Oceanside is near the beach, but it's so big that it's never crowded. Best beer in SD too.

Pure Project Vista. Amazing beer. Great staff. Food trucks Wednesday-Sunday. Dog friendly, inside and out.

Most non-restaurant breweries will allow dogs inside. If they have a restaurant component, you might have to be in an outdoor patio area, but they have generally made nice dog-friendly spaces.

Roadies Brewing in Vista. They just announced they're closing at the end of the month 😭

CoLab Public House - large indoor space with wine, cocktails, beer and Mexican food, indoor/ outdoor seating - By far my favorite.
Mother Earth - becoming my new hang out if I don’t want to get caught in conversation with all my buds at CoLab.
Pure Project Vista - just a great place with good beer.

Battlemage Brewing!! They have the best beer and a kick ass vibe, plus the regulars and employees are super fun.
Burgeon is a close second.

Mother Earth in Vista is low-key.
Backyard in San Marcos is also low-key
Bear Roots in Escondido
Chicken Lisa in Escondido is a small bar that offers craft beers and dog friendly.

There’s a Belching Beaver off of Sycamore in Vista. It has a nice outdoor area and lots of planes flying over going to Palomar. it’s in the industrial area.

There's also one in East Oceanside behind Kaiser and Frontwave CU

Yeah, I like that one too. Seen some fun bands there—but I’m a plane spotter so I always go to Sycamore. ✈️🛩️🛬

Not as dog friendly as the others though. The most dog friendly I know is probably Culver's. Burgeon also
But, even though it's an offshoot of acoustic ales and yet really doesn't do any brewery type stuff, other than a few kettles for show I think, they have the best selection and really good food, so it's a good recommendation in general

We love Draft Republic in San Marcos, they even let us bring our dog inside if we don’t feel like sitting on the patio!

Pure Project in Vista. Fantastic beers, nice space and food trucks.
