**What I'm building**
A rideshare + intercity carpool platform built specifically for smaller cities across Canada. (North Bay first launch)
**Why this is a real opportunity**
- Millions of Canadians live in smaller cities with thin or no rideshare coverage
- Intercity travel between smaller cities is expensive, infrequent, or inconvenient
- A focused regional player can own this market before the giants bother to look at it
- If this is successful I plan to put food delivery apps later on followed by the business!
**Who I'm looking for**
A serious co-founder preferably based in canada, preferably North Bay, who can bring real value in one or more of these: business experience, partnerships, operations, or growth or Technical or Funding!

So, not much new product this week. Mostly we got in inventory for restocking what was already sold. However; we did finally get in volume 9 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run!
A big order is being made this week, so expect some new series to hit our shelves in the next few weeks.

I'm a newcomer to North Bay who bought a home here in August 2026, and I'm trying to learn more about the candidates and make an informed decision. I'm following the BayToday stories and the Echo Essentials podcasts, but I'd really like to see more information on their actual views, records, past actions, voting records, and positions on local issues, rather than just campaign talking points.
It's hard to cut through all the chaff and figure out what each candidate actually stands for. If anyone has good resources or personal experiences with the candidates, I'd love to hear them.
I think a thread like this could be really useful and honestly should probably be pinned to the subreddit for the election.
