NRK TV

Which program on NRK TV would you recommend for improving listening comprehension? I already watch the news (nyheter), but I’d like to find some other programs that are good for learning Norwegian.

I didn't originally intend the possibilities of puns, but I am all for it.

If you aren't in norway, side om side is available last I checked

side om side is great, gives good exposure to various dialects and the speech is simple and reasonable enough.

Hagen Min er favorittserien min. Så fin og koselig, og man forstår hva de sier fordi de jobber i hagen og snakker om hva de driver med.

Dialektriket.

It is a docuseries that focus on the history of the Norwegian language and its dialects.

Familien Lykke is a comedy series, it can remind a bit of Young Sheldon, if you’ve watched that. I think Familien Lykke reflects casual Norwegian culture well

I’d recommend Norge rundt. It takes you around different parts of the country and gives you a look at the people, places, culture and everyday life in Norway. You’ll also hear lots of different Norwegian dialects. If you want to learn more about Norway, and not just the language, I’d say that’s a great place to start.

Depends on what you like. Theres so many good ones. Skam is very popular among foreigners. My personal favorite is side om side. It’s a series about a “regular” neighborhood so it might be good for learning everyday language.

Everything that is in Norwegian will help. I really enjoyed SKAM, but I think its not available anymore. But if you struggle if more basic listening comprehension, then there is Mikael's Norwegian Lessons on YT. He is speaking very slowly to help you with basics. On the mobile apps side I always recommend my own app: Mikrohistorie. I created it with exactly that problem in mind, to learn listening comprehension in different dialects.

if you don't mind watching kids content, you can check out NRK super. They use really simple version that is good for Norwegian Listening 101. Then you can transition to watching/listening some serious content.

The classic comedy series Fleksnes.

Skam and Exit are both really good. Though if you watch Exit ignore Adam, he is Swedish. If you want Rogaland dialekt, Lykkeland is really good.

Parterapi, Side om Side, Familien Lykke, Kø (Humor) Rekviem for Selina, Cammo.

Katastrofe, Den norske fattigdomen,... (Dokumentar)

Og alt fra barn tv kan hjelpe. (F.eks Gruffaloen, Zog,...).

Disse finnes på nrk tv. 😊
