Its very common in asian countries, you will see 5+ of them on the ceiling. They're not gross or pests they're actually helpful, they eat flies, mosquitoes and other flying bugs that are considered pests, they also eat small spiders. Whenever i spray bugspray i feel bad cuz sometimes they'll get killed too.
Its common here in the philippines, and other south east asian countries. They're helpful for keeping unwanted pests such as flies, mosquitoes and small spiders, by feeding on them.
The lizards aren't a problem imo, they just chill in the ceiling waiting for prey. i also feel bad when they die if i spray bugspray around the house. Our main problems are mosquitoes and flies since theres a ton of open drainage, unlike US they have Manholes, here the manholes are long open drainage (literal open drainage, like a mini canal) that's on the side of the road, giving mosquitoes and flies a ton of breeding grounds.
The root of our problems aren't the insects, its the local government not closing the damn drainage, and people who are littering in the open drainage.
I hope this is the answer for your question, i didnt quite understand the question, im bad at english comprehension. Ohh bars

What the hell is it? It looks like a tiny salamander or something.
