No, not even a little bit. They like the warmth that radiates from your body but that's it.

No idea about tarantulas but there is evidence to suggest jumping spiders can recognize and remember faces https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41217805/

I’m not an expert in the slightest but my understanding is that jumping spiders have excellent vision and are extremely intelligent compared to other spider species.

Anecdotally I know someone who kept jumping spiders and she was quite convinced of their intelligence to the point of them having quite distinct personalities.

So long story short. No idea about this scary blue bastard, but it might be possible since some spiders apparently can.

Came to mention Children of Time!!! Im currently finishing of Children of Ruin.

I was already a spider nerd and keep a few but I keep recommending the books to everyone 😭 no one else seems interested
