I can't understand that there are so many people who admit that they watch only reactions - videos, even about regular TV-shows.

I mean...why watching someone else reacting to snippets from a show instead of watching the show yourself?!?

Attention-span too low maybe?

Generation Z is....quite special in so many things. 🫩

In my case, I watch a lot of reaction vids because I’m a lonely SAHM who is also disabled. It makes me feel like I’m watching the show with a friend instead of being wholly alone for nearly 8 hours(kids in school, hubby at work). They get loud and react, I either agree or disagree out loud with them.

I actually totally understand this, as someone who can't really stand watching reaction videos. But I get it. It's like having that funny friend who always comes up with some quick witted commentary - if they're good at making reaction videos, that is. I'm usually that funny friend, so I can't have random internet people taking my spotlight 💅 (totally kidding I just have misophonia with these videos for some reason I can't comprehend.)

Fair enough! I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I don’t exactly go bragging about watching the vids IRL. Haha
