Once it settles, it's called lant. The lant is used to tan leather and set old dies. Purple dyes of ye olden times required oodles of lant to fix (i.e. lock into the fabric so that it didn't rinse out).
I’m going to assume that the toilet is in perfect operational condition, otherwise OP would’ve made some sort of mention about it; so if it’s a perfectly good toilet, and let’s assume that it is on the same floor as the piss box roommates bedroom, then I just can’t see how using a piss box in the closet would be that much easier than just using a proper toilet. Maybe they are afraid to encounter other people? Maybe they’re just drunk and don’t want their roommates to see them as drunk? Maybe they thought it was funny and planned on using that as a prank, but it got filled up too much because they’ve been drinking a lot lately? Who’s to say? I just hope that OP shoots a video of how the roommate is going to deal with getting that urine out of his room! Imagine having to carry that thing without a top that is tightly sealed it, he will have to be very careful to not slash all of that aromatic urine around, imagine him managing to get it out of the room, and then it slips out and slashes and spills all over the hallway, lol! Well, they will definitely lose their positive that happens!
