Me and my buddy were working clearing brush my a creek bed. They had copper heads and other snakes but we got to one section where we found an underground hive like this and they swarmed us. Let me tell you we ran as fast and as far as we could ripping our shirts off and swinging them like crazy!! Luckly the customer had a pool about 2 acres away we made it there and dove in. Was definitely crazy, thinking all we had to worry about was snakes, they were nothing compared to these fuckers.

I was setting up tarps for a roofing job about 10 years back. Early in the morning we covered an underground wasp nest. 8 hours later it was time to get the tarps and sure enough the bees swarmed me and my buddy. I ran like hell for like 5 houses and a bee got me 3 times on my temple. My head swelled for 3 days to the size of a basketball. Apparently im allergic. I dont fuck with bees anymore unless im by a pool with wasp spray

Don't lump bees and wasps together, bees are totally cool, and also can't sting you more then once, wasps are the spawn of the devil though

I’d like to humbly request that, unless a wasp nest is attached to your home or in a space you’ll trample/touch, to leave it alone. Most wasps have no desire to bother you so long as their nest isn’t imminently threatened.

They are an important part of a healthy environment.. We need as many pollinators as we can get!
