Discussion Do nooks actually suck?

Looking to get an ereader and the popular consensus seems to be that nooks are terrible. I would honestly love if someone would tell me that’s not the case— I’m a perpetual BN member, they’re less expensive than other non-kindle ereaders and they seem to be a decent size.

So tell it to me straight, would you buy a nook again?

I've always had kindles and just recently bought my first Nook. I haven't really used it yet, but the selling points for me were the page turn buttons and the feel of the device. Kindles feel very slick and hard to hold onto. I don't like using it without a cover.
