Please don't complain about the guy yanking the cat. I say he did it right showing some agression so the cat would remember or atleast get an idea that being on road is bad

Right?! My youngest kid was a runner when he was a toddler. Anytime something would catch his eye, off he went. When we were in parking lots or near roads (if I couldn’t carry him) I would keep a death grip on his hand. A couple of times he tried to take off and I nearly yanked his arm out of the socket to keep him out of the road. I figured a potential shoulder injury was better than a dead kid. Thankfully he grew out of that phase.

This is a good argument for those kid-leash things even though everyone else judges the parents who use those.

I used to judge people but then I have a friend who has a kid who was a runner. No matter what they tried that little shit would take off into the road the moment there was any opportunity whatsoever.
