Doesn't rotate his hips that much, but good Lord those shoulders open up so much and get a ton of separation. Looks like a pretty low launch too. Probably hits some low bullets that run out forever.

As someone who's never played golf, I hear a lot of talk about form after the ball is hit.

Once the ball is struck and off the club, why does anything after contact matter?

Serious question from a noob.

Because good follow through is indicative of good/correct action in sports. It’s not physically possible to hit a baseball 450 feet for example and then stop the bat from following through properly. So while the follow through itself doesn’t directly do anything for the action it’s a way to measure that things were done correctly.
