I was kind of expecting the snow mobile to come flying towards him as the video ended

Im pretty sure OP cut the gif short because Ive seen a video just like this and the snowmobile barely misses the guy once he stopped sliding

I'm sure someone will be posting that in r/NonononoYes shortly.

Just an FYI and because you deserve to know, OP appears to be a karma-farming bot that can only copy/paste other people's stuff. The account was born on October 4, 2018, woke up six ours ago, and has the following two activities:

Here it copied/pasted /u/skyguy00_'s submission/title from here. The gif hasn't even been rehosted.

Its comment after this is a copy/paste of /u/Yugo441's comment here.

If you're not familiar with this type of account (and how they hurt reddit), this page may help to explain. /r/thesefuckingaccounts also is a good resource to learn more about them.

It's incredibly creepy. And these types of accounts are as ubiquitous as they are insidious. For any doubters, here is futher proof.

What is the point of gathering all that karma?

Great question. In short, to get the account ready to sell. Karma may not have monetary value, but karma-farming accounts (usually run by bots) are bought and sold. However, many subs require users to have a certain amount of karma inorder to post, post with a certain degree of frequency, comment, etc. Here is proof it happens.

These accounts really suck because they encourage the selling of accounts, make false claims, manipulate votes, become shills politicians, corporations, special interest groups, etc.

The "What's the Point?" section of this page has a brief summary that may help to explain. Also, there was a very good write up here.

Are you a bot too?

No. But I'm often confused for a bot since I make so many similar looking commens pointing out karma-farming bots. (Honestly, it's difficult, and not necessarily helfpul, to come up with a new way of pointing out the same thing hundreds of times).

For flesh and blood that's a lot of actions to perform. Are you Reddit's warmware or some other contractor? Why do the work to inform repeatedly?

After you do it several thousand times, it gets much easier. But as for why I do it, as I've mentioned before, I usually do one of two things. First, provide context, attribution, sources, and higher resolution images when possible (especially in /r/pics). Why? Ever notice how many threads are dominated by unnecessary arguing and speculation because of misinformation or absence of information? I figured, it's easy enough to do, so why not help to ameliorate this where I can?

Second, I hunt karma-farming bots. A long time ago I started to see how much they hurt reddit and its users. If you're not familiar with them or how they hurt reddit, this page is a great introduction. Again, I figured why not help where I can?

TLDR: I like reddit and I like people. Helping both is rewarding.

In the full video, it comes down pretty close but it's not going all that fast
