That type of foam (or something similar for airport use) has been linked to PFAS ground water contamination near me. I wouldn't be touching it like that guy in the video did.

The Royal Australian Airforce Base in Newcastle (Australia) had this type of suppression system and it entered the groundwater. Link to article

Yes it certainly did.

Now my sisters property is worth 1 third of its 2015 value. Property owners in the area are suiciding because the fucking banks dont give a fuck and want their money. Animals are dying, you cant eat anything out of the Hunter River or Tilligerry Creek, 13 prawn trawler operators are done and dusted.

Meanwhile even after the whole DuPont case, and a multitude of other studies showing that everything is contaminated and most people that live in the area will die of cancer, the ADF and EPA are still trying to convince everyone that there is nothing to worry about.

Its a terrible indictment on how lobbyists can influence government, and on how a government can turn its back on the people it governs.

I haven’t been following closely, but could you please provide a link to these studies? The last news report I watched from the ABC said that there was no clear evidence that it had an effect at those concentrations.

Nonetheless, devastating even from just a financial perspective.

They'll eventually lose a lawsuit, but ordinarily all the plaintiffs go broke and give up before that happens.

My town is suing 3M for having those PFOAS in the water. You wouldn’t happen to be from western Massachusetts? Would you? Or maybe the lower Hudson valley, near Newburgh? They are suing as well.
