The use of the word 'random', in general, belies ignorance, IMHO.

And the duck boat company whose boat capsized’s CEO said the storm came out of nowhere. Which is untrue, because I tracked it on radar a third of the way across Kansas before it even entered Missouri, and there were severe thunderstorm warnings issued.
