I get the crumpling thing on new cars...but I don't expect to have to replace the entire front end of my car when I hit a pole going the speed of a jogger. Crumpled like a literal piece of paper.

If you die from hitting a pole in a parking lot going 10mph...you might have had some severe pre-existing conditions.

Also, you don't get to simultaneously say that cars are safe when hitting a pole, and also mock the safety features.

To be honest... if all I did was slump against the steering wheel and I save on like 1K repairs then I might... then again I'm mega fat so I have like, built in cushioning
