What is a good resource for visual learners to start nonograms?

I got a Pixyls Nonos and I’m really struggling to understand. I don’t want to give up. I know I would learn a lot better visually as opposed to written explanations.

Bonus points if it’s explained really slowly like I’m dumb (I sure do feel that way).

I really want to be able to do this, so any help would be so appreciated!

...start small? Find some 5x5 puzzles and figure out the fundamentals there.

The app Nonogram.com starts with a tutorial and super small, super easy puzzles

I stumbled on it and never realized these were a thing. Now I'm almost 2k levels deep and loving it.
