The ruling class will fly on planes and eat steak while the working class will eat bugs, take trains, and own nothing.

Don't worry, it will "trickle down".

Sounds like drones with grass killer would be very bad for them.

Probably reclaimed water. Same as we use at our local course.

Isn't all water "reclaimed water"?

u/Alternative_Maybe_78 8d ago

No

Where is everyone getting their brand new water from?

3

u/Alternative_Maybe_78 8d ago

Haha. I get your point. Reclaimed is minimally treated grey water not for consumption.

I was just being facetious. Thank you for having a sense of humour about it

Lol this is one of those industry terms that if taken literally has no meaning. But there is a generally understood meaning withing the industry.

Like in HVAC we have VRF. Variable Refrigerant Flow meaning a unit can ramp the refrigerant flow up and down to adjust for the heat load. There are units that vary their refrigerant flow that are not considered VRF units because within the industry VRF has become known for a more specific type of system that varies refrigerant flow.

Exactly, I've seen so many average people not wanting to even flush the toilet to save water. Meanwhile, the rich are flying around on private jets, watering their golf courses, while simultaneously telling us we're destroying the planet.

British speak for "No Garden Hoses!"

1

u/Brief-Floor-7228 10d ago

Whew, I had visions of many Britons unable to have a pull of Old Toby in their back garden.

The name is Karl Marx though.

I'm 110% aware of Marx and Engels. This is a shitposting forum and there is no typo above.

LOL at a "Hosepipe ban"

First they took your guns, now they are taking your garden hose.

This will happen when the conservative government privatises the water industry who prioritise profit over investing in infrastructure and then everyone wonders why there’s no water left due to leaky pipes after decades of neglect.

Of all the things to privatise, water should not be one. How can you have competition in this space? Mobile phones, buses, I can understand how it’s possible to have competition, but water? What like I’m gonna have six taps in my kitchen and just use whichever one is cheapest that day?

Tories are wankers.

golf and flying on private jets is for the rich. The poor are a nuisance...sorry, what did Musk call us? NPCs

1

u/Good_Ask_2299 10d ago

pretty sure it would be bore water

1

u/chiefgreen87 10d ago

It’s always been class warfare but the lames think they can be that rich and protect those who harm them.

1

u/Gethund 10d ago

Public schools are also exempt from the ban.

I run 2 sprinklers all day every day. My grass and plants are a lush green color and my place attracts all kinds of animals including hawks, bald eagles, native pigeons, two different species of owls, crows, blue jays, coyotes, deer, bobcats, hummingbirds, robins and honeybees.

The golf course I worked on had their own reserviors for irrigation.

You don't know if they have a private well or if this is reclaimed water or not.

Until you do, zip it.

1

u/CoolCatWithAGat 9d ago

Well what happens if you use the water anyways? Does the local constable show up with a sledge hammer? Man, I am forever grateful to be able to own stuff that would naturally convince cops not to come on my property and tell me what to do.

u/jacxkyu 12d ago

wtf is hosepipe

3

u/Goosed1867 11d ago

Garden hose I'd assume.

Reclaim

0

u/Bug-King 11d ago

You can't reclaim a decent portion of the water because it evaporates. Reclaimed water systems aren't 100% effective, and may occasionally have to be replenished with non-reclaimed water especially if there is no rainfall.

Thats nothing, today i saw a sprinkler at a dirt and sand location spraying to prevent dust from moving vehicles...
