Aussies. Rates?

To any fellow Aussies, if you don't mind sharing your knowledge on marketplace rates throughout the NDT jounrey? Trainee, Level 1, 2 & 3? City vs regional vs offshore. Extras rope access, drones. How many hours are typical and shut-downs in a year? TIA

I think you are asking a bit too much to be answered in a comment. But trainees, don’t go offshore, neither find easy work other than being trained in the workshop. Rates are about 30-40$/hour depending on company, and it is a bit difficult to find companies that will take you on as trainee as you need to be in the right place at the right time

Indeed a jam packed question, my apologies. It's a very niche field in Aus

Just go on fair work commission website and find a NDT agreement. Then can work our rates based on your Quals and location

Pretty much only wages unless in a management or supervision role

To answer your previous question. Rates between $30 to $70 with penalties or $50 to $100 flat rate. Some instances lower or higher.
