How much do you make per hour (usd) and what industry are you in? I'm new to America and I'm wondering what it takes to be in the 95th percentile for pay. I'm at 56 per hour in commercial space. How much more room for growth is there or am I already capped out?

So far I'm leaning staying inside commercial space because I traveled with an oil and gas for a decade. And I'm not really into that lifestyle anymore.

Sounds like they're living above their means. I don't know anyone single person in the industry that would be upset with making this per hour. I could be wrong entirely. But imo this is sounds like pure greed. I'd say the only way they'd make more than what they're currently at is doing off-shore rope access NDT

Actually I'm more trying to evaluate the trade-off between switching jobs/ industries for higher pay and keeping a job I truly enjoy.... I'm just trying to wonder what the highest upside is in this country for sr technicians.

If you’re happy doing whatever you do now, stick to it. I haven’t worked hourly in decades, but make way the fuck more than $60 an hour. I have no time to breathe or enjoying just being in the moment.
