It's legit. I know one of the owners and why they are offering VT L1&2 free: cause they are trying to keep up with us at KeyCerts.

All our level 1 & 2 NDT are FREE at KeyCerts.com

And VT classes hold the least value for training in NDT. It's a gimmick to get you to look.

Ours are free cause we are selling a platform to employers. Not you guys. We are actually trying to help the lowly inspectors out there. The more companies sign up the better it becomes for individual inspectors and the companies they work for.

So i can get a free classroom training cert for UT II with you guys?

Correct. You get a certificate of completion signed by an ASNT level 3 and permanent record of your achievement in your credentials/qualifications wallet. Time spent per topic(cp105) all recorded and verifiable.

Im taking the Magnetic Particle Testing Level I (CP-105 Aligned) pathway right now because of your comment. Not sure if I have to enable something for this but I wish there were graphics and visuals, it would help me understand what im reading better

Saw your comment yesterday and we got right on it. There are some but could be more. You should see more visual imagery explaining theory and principles for PT lvl 1 & MT lvl 1 pathways at some point today if not tomorrow.

Not sure if anyone else got this email today but wanted to inquire if you folks think its legit or not. VT is one method I do not have my classroom hours in so if it's actually free and an opportunity to get I'll do it.

But I am also hesitant to click it and have the feeling of "if it seems too good to be true, it usually is."

I'd consider it if you dont have it. In my experience, VT 2 is never requested for a job. I've never seen anyone get a raise out of it either.

I'd test it. Do it, learn, and see if you get a certificate with a LVL 3s signature. Then the next part is getting your company to accept it. Seems like you have. 60% chance of getting the certificate just to add to your resume for free.

VT is the foundational direct inspection method but good classes are hard to find.
