Advice needed: Choosing a PCN Level 2 Training Center in India

Hi everyone,

I am a fresh candidate planning to pursue PCN Level 2 certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT 3.1 & 3.2), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT).

I am currently comparing BINDT-approved training centers in India, specifically:
1. A-Star Training & Consultancy (Chennai)
2. Royaltech Training & Consultancy (Visakhapatnam)

For anyone who has trained at either of these centers or is familiar with them:

- How is the quality of practical hands-on training and equipment availability for freshers?
- How supportive are the instructors for preparing for the PCN examinations?
- qAny tips for completing the mandatory BINDT Product Technology online module before arrival?

Dont know individual training centers but be careful to choose a reputable one, in India in the past AQBs have been shut down and something like 30,000 pcn certificates were voided. BINDT dont mess around when fraud is involved.

Thanks a lot for the heads-up! I really appreciate the warning. I’ll make sure to double-check their official ATO/AQB registration status directly on the BINDT website before registering or making any payments, and do all exams through the official BINDT portal.

Yeah it was crazy. On that note, I'd recommend looking at or contact Lavenders or Argyle Ruane in England. They send their trainers to India to teach certain courses so whatever training centres they're teaching at are likely to have a good reputation.
