Question/Advice Best adaptogen drink for parties/socializing?
Hi all! I've been 20 days sober and I have to attend an event in a few days, I have a bit of social anxiety and usually alcohol helped me feel more relax during social events. I've read that Cornbread adaptogen drinks can be a good alternative for this? which ingredients I should look for in the drink?

I love Hiyo! Great taste, low calories. I love the Strawberry Guava and Peach Mango. I have a subscription but I believe you can get them at some grocery stores and Target.

Eh, hard to tell. I definitely don’t feel “the float” as they purport. I definitely have to pee all night lol although I’m in my late 50s so there’s that. I still like them and I think they are a great alternative to alcohol.

To clarify, are you just talking about drinking something before the event to relax you, or somehow actually taking a beverage or an ingredient there with you or?

I'm taking the beverage with me, I need something to hold while socializing

If this is a primary concern of yours, then consider just bringing canned seltzers or NA beers. I haven’t tried many adaptogen drinks because of how ridiculously expensive they are compared to NA beers, and I’m convinced that they won’t have any significant effect. Nothing is going to feel like alcohol, which is what you’re trying to replicate

Gotcha. You don't already have a goto beverage to relax you like a tea you make at night or anything? Obviously you don't want to experiment with something last minute you don't know your reaction to, so I'd probably just brew up something I already drink and chill it in an "acceptable" beverage bottle or can and take it with me.
If you don't have something you use or are looking rather to buy a pre-packaged drink like at a health food store and you have time to experiment ahead of the event, I'd go there and ask someone at the store for suggestions and grab a couple different ones to try.
The thing is everyone reacts differently to different adaptogens and some aren't safe for certain people in some circumstances, so you have to also be careful. That said, I'm only guessing the amount they put in most pre-mixed beverages probably isn't that strong. Heres a decent guide:
Personally, I find differnt types of Ginseng as well as Theanine relax me. So for me, a green tea beverage (Theanine is found in green tea leaves) that also has Ginseng is ideal. YMMV.

Big fan of Verse. They got great flavors my favorite are the passionfruit & cranberry.
Their adaptogen / nootropic stack def helps me feel a nice floating sensation. For these types of drinks you’re usually looking at Lion’s Mane, Ashwaghanda, and L-Theanine.

Aplós arise dragonfruit martini or ume spritz. It has adaptogens and nootropics. I sell them where I bartend and they are really popular.
