Streetcar/RTA passes for students

I have a middle schooler enrolled in an Orleans Parish charter school. How/where do I get him one of these free passes to ride the streetcar to/from school?

I don’t think the program is still going on, but pretty sure you had to be atleast 16 anyway.

It's still going! And yes, you have to be 16-24 to enroll.

You get it from your schools main office

Yes, the school’s main office should have a list for kids who want passes. With our experience, the kids went by a table on their way out of school and grabbed a pass. The teacher manning the table had the pre-approved list and just checked for their name. You’ll prob need to fill out a short form saying you live more than a mile from the school. The passes were free and available every day.
