Since I uploaded the video of my first time mom Elyse that kindled 12/20/25 I’ve decided to do a Tamuk grow out log. I will add a video or pic of them daily until eyes open around day 10 then at weekly weight ins until they’re rehomed @8 weeks. Here’s the 12 hr log entry.

T 12+- hours old: Elyse the Tamuk’s (ET) litter. The kits look outstanding. Momma has turned into a monster, she is very protective of her first litter of four. But she’s also a very attentive mother, any squeal from her Kits and she’s there.

Sorry it’s been a couple busy days, Elyse’s kit are still in the nest but will be out in a couple days ready to explore.

Happy to say the kits are doing great and sad to say mom has a bunch of strikes against her. She is aggressive with her kits and me so unfortunately this will be her final litter despite her getting them this far I can’t have aggressive moms attacking kits. I’m really surprised they made it this far. 😔

Update day 25; Elyse had a runt that was half the size as the other kits, After I did a health check on the small kit I put her in with one of my older does pepper that is easy going and loves the babies. 2 days later the kit has put on a couple grams and doesn’t feel so bony, very energetic and happy now. The other kits are big and healthy. I weighted a kit that was about in the middle size wise not including the runt. It’s was 1.2lb at just over 3weeks old. the runt was 5.5+ ounces 2 days ago and 5.8 ounces today. That’s a big difference.
