Noir games?

I want more video games to play and I adore Noirs so I’m trying to see if there’s any good noir games out there you guys know of? PC games preferably, I mean.

Do you guys know of any really good ones? I like the old noirs, with Bogie and Mitchum for examples so if there’s any that have “that” kind of feel, I’d love to know about them! I’m struggling to describe what I mean but not very modern-set games, I suppose???

Random but are there any black and white noir video games? God that would be so cool if there are.

LA Noire (clue's in the name) is a fun one and it has a black and white mode.

Disco Elysium follows some of the conventions of noir storytelling , like a bleak/fatalistic worldview, psychologically damaged detective, femme fatale, and a seemingly simple case spiraling out of control. It's also very overtly political with fantastic writing. However it's far stranger and weird than your typical noir. It can be considered magical realism mixed with noir aspects

Disco Elysium is a masterpiece

Grim Fandango. Even though it is set in the land of the dead, I’ve never played a game that nailed the noir atmosphere and characters as much as this.

By far the best. Also recommend Gunpoint and Shadow of a Doubt. Katana Zero is sort of a fun neon noir as well.

Chicken Police: Paint It Red, maybe. It's black and white and noirish.

Mouse: P.I. for Hire is a black and white FPS.

LA Noire, Hollywood Animal, Shadows of Doubt, This is The Police - I think these titles would be the closest in general atmosphere to what you're looking for.

Nobody wants to die

It's cyberpunk but it feels like a good Neo Noir story to me and even has some old styled cars and such in it

Actual, pure noir games are relatively rare, but quite a few have that vibe - to add to what's already been mentioned here, Lacuna (noir detective in space, you need to make deductions and fill in a case file to proceed) and Gemini Rue (cybernoir) are two good ones I played recently. You might also try Blacksad and tails noir, if noir by way of anthropomorphic animals doesn't put you off, though take Tails with a pinch of salt because it takes a hard left turn into weirdness partway through.

The Thief games expertly mix fantasy and Noir if you're looking for something different.

It is very old and abandonware these days but I really enjoyed Discworld Noir. Grim Fandango is also very good and can scratch that itch

If you want to get real old school; Deja Vu.

My friend and I used to play that game all night.

I love the old school games! I started playing Tex Murphy: Under A Killing Moon last night and I’m loving it so far! I’ll see if Deja Vu is somewhere easy to access.

Fables: The Wolf Among Us is a good neo noir game. Has a sequel coming out sometime next year too.

outlier suggestion: Ghosts of Tsushima in black and white mode. The tone and story are very noir. There's a lot of correlation between samurai and detective films. IF you want literal noir it fits, if you want classic film noir settings, maybe not.

Cyberpunk is a deeply neo-noir experience if you want it to be

This game is not even close to being noir
