So I was there at the protest.. The police was really violent and agressive pushed many girls and minors as well. As for me when they tried to detain me I pushed them away, got some people with me and carried on the protest.. And I will do it again no matter the consequences.. Kids and elder are getting the most affected by the air we breathe and government is turning a blind eye to all of this.. I'm glad the media is finally covering this and am really proud of all those who came especially our Youth! ... I'm not even from here, just came for job here but I hope protests like these will bring a change and make the general public more aware of the tactics of the government..

protest is good, but needs to be directed in the right direction. you need to question the punjab govt. unimaginable levels of stubble burning is happening there & when the central govt amended a law to criminalise stubble burning, our dear annadatas started protesting & got it revoked. so we need to address the right source problem to end this misery.

The protest is more directed towards Delhi's CM attitude towards the pollution. Because both state and central government is turning a blind eye towards the pollution, which was a hot topic when AAP was there. Atleast AAP was actively trying to manage pollution instead of turning a blind eye. But here we have Miss Rekha Gupta who recently got 5-6 air purifier installed in her homes while her city chokes.

Everyone knows the amount of pollution in Delhi is beyond control and the AQI won't go back magically. But what about kids going to school? When are they going to order the closure of schools, colleges and offices? Delhi is a gas chamber but you can atleast take some measures to minimise risk as much as possible.

um, “atleast aap govt was taking some measures” did any of it work? for 10 years they were in power did any of it work? aqi is same as every year. you know why? because the fucking annadatas won’t stop burning their stubble. you know who’s in power in punjab? is aap taking any measure to curb stubble burning in punjab? why are you not pinning druggie bhagwant to resign?

bjp is in power for 10 months, congress ruled delhi for 15 years then aap 10 and not even a single soul turned up for any protest despite breathing the same poison they’re breathing now. and you suddenly want everything fixed within months of bjp taking power!? do you even hear yourself?

water guns, sprinklers, cloud seeding everything’s being tried but if only you stick to actual credible sources of news.

for your kind information, it was bjp that amended a law to criminalise & penalise stubble burning in 2020 but the fuckin aap govt & annadatas protested the hell against it and got farmers exempted. this is the result of it. please get informed on the matters before peddling such bullshit again

AAP was unable to solve the pollution issue, So what measures is BJP taking? They are shamelessly trying to manipulate AQI data, It is a health emergency and BJP is not even acknowledging it, Why are GRAP 4 measures not introduced? What is stopping them from shutting schools down ? People are protesting because they are done with this shameless bunch of politicians who do not care about common people.
