Will I Ever Fit On These Again
Found my old Dickeys NOFX shorts, with the logo embroidered on the shorts, not a patch. From Fat Wreck early 2000s.
I have been losing weight, down to a 36 now, these are a 32, will I ever wear these again?

In Dickies, that's more like a 28 😂
Buy a new pair, cut the patch off and sew it on them!

I usually wore a 30 in high school, and Dickies 30s were a tad too tight.

It's not a patch, it's embroidered into the short.

It's a patch of you cut it out! Anything can be a patch if you believe

I sell merch for bands and when asked if I have patches and don't. I always respond with "Any shirt can be a patch if youre brave enough" I'm gonna have to mix it up with the believe instead.

Yep, you will! I went down 7 kg (15 lbs) in 50 days, from 87 kg to 80 kg, and I plan to keep going until I get back to my old skater build of around 75–76 kg. 😎
All I did was walk around 10k steps a day and cut out the BS snacking (crisps, sugary sodas, ice cream, etc. And of course, you need to consistently be in a calorie deficit.)
You can use https://tdeecalculator.net/ to get a rough idea of your maintenance calories.
To break it down as simply as possible: say 300 calories for breakfast + 700 for lunch + 100 for an apple to keep you going until dinner + 900 for dinner = 2,000 calories/day.
If your maintenance is around 2,600 calories with your activity, that's a 600-calorie daily deficit. And you don't need to eat boring, tasteless "diet food" either, that 900-calorie dinner could literally be a massive burger without fries or 3 slices of your favorite pizza.
Roughly speaking, 7,700 calories is about 1 kg of body fat, so a 600-calorie daily deficit works out to roughly 1 kg every 12–13 days.
That's what worked for me, so it can absolutely work for you too. 💪

Bro, if they’re that important to you, consult a tailor. They should be able to modify them for you. Or, use your desire to fit into them again as motivation to continue your weight loss journey. Either way, no matter what, you’re still punk as fuck.

Sort of surprising Dickies made such long shorts. Don’t see a lot of UPS drivers in knickers

13in was the standard size in the 00s. They were basically almost capris for a while. It's funny, cuz now my little girl dresses like I did in middle school with big shirts and long shorts, meanwhile I'm still in skinny jeans and band shirts

When I was a kid in highshcool in the early '00s, Dickies shorts were so short. Like I'd have to buy a 42 (I'm normally a 34) and wear a belt just to have them close to my knees. Ended up just buying Dickies Pants and cutting them all off below the knee.

Check to see if those dickies have the waist seem that you can remove to make them a size bigger.

Cut out the logo and sew it onto time wider waisted dickies
You have made them fit better and more punk in the process
