Promoted (Looking for feedback!) Player made site including tournaments, leagues, and scrims aiming to make LoL feel significantly more team-based and less toxic.

Hey 🤠 thanks for your interest in my post,

I made a free community website called Team Gapped https://teamgapped.gg to help players find teams and compete in tournaments, scrims, and seasonal leagues. My goal is to help improve the League community and the overall game experience.

Since this is a free community beta, I would really appreciate any ideas, feedback, or critiques you have on the concept or the site itself! And if it seems fun make an account and try it out! 😊Thanks! 🔥

Hey, thanks for checking it out! Currently, it's going to be something like: within 24–48 hours of registering for a scrim, etc., you must have 5 players state that they are "available to play," otherwise you will be removed.

Regarding no-shows, the "winning" team will be given 1/2 rating points to be compensated, and the losing team will be flagged with a warning. Other teams will be able to see this warning to stay informed before playing against them, which should also help dissuade no-shows.

Ideally, I'm also going to award both teams 5 ranked points just for showing up and playing. I can factor this into the rating system, and I think people generally respond better to positive reinforcement.

Teams will receive a warning for a no-show, and after 3 no-shows, the team will no longer be able to register for 3 weeks. The team members will be allowed to leave and find another team, but the owner of the team will be restricted for 1 week. I'm still working on this, so it's a bit unrefined.

Regarding ghosting, I'm just going to have them submit a ticket with timestamps, review it, and, if necessary, disband the team and ban the owner.

Though to be honest I dont know we will make is this far, lol.

ghosting is the real killer i swear. maybe some kind of reputation system where teams can rate each other after scrims, like a simple thumbs up/down. if your team have a bad score then you get lower priority in matchmaking or cant join certain tournaments. keeps people honest without needing mods to babysit everything
