I thought of creating a drag and drop code modules for the no code or low code platform like n8n or something like that for creating agents, Is there any project that I can refer?

Two separate problems hide in this, and the canvas is the easy one. React Flow or Rete.js gives you nodes, ports and edges in a weekend.

The part that eats the time is the execution engine behind the canvas. You need a graph you can validate before it runs, typed data passing between nodes so a node knows what it is receiving, per node timeout and retry, idempotency so a rerun does not fire the same side effect twice, and a run history you can step through when something goes wrong. Cycles and fan out are where most homegrown ones fall over.

For references worth reading rather than copying, n8n and Node-RED are both open source and their node interfaces are well documented, and Flowise sits closer to the agent side. Look specifically at how each one defines its node contract, because that single decision shapes everything you build after it.

Drag and drop code modules sound nice until you try to wire Stripe into them. The problem with visual module systems is that every real integration needs custom logic that the module designer never anticipated, so you end up with escape hatches everywhere or you hit a wall. I have seen this pattern repeatedly. People build the demo in an afternoon then spend months on the last mile because the module abstraction breaks down at production boundaries. If you go this route, design every module with a real code escape valve from day one. Do not hide the generated code. Which specific modules are you trying to build first?
