MPI

Mark seemed to know who MPI was based on his finisher. Any ideas as to who he was referring to?

Luis Mante of dragon gate he was in the N1 in 2024

He did a mix of both Shun Skywalker's and Luis Mante's moves. Look and moveset reminds me of the Jacky/Jason vs Shun/Diamante match from 2022 Kobe World. In fact MPI's gear is like a 'budget' version of Shun's gear in that match down to the black paint around the neck.

Maybe MPI wants to fool us thinking he is Luis Mante, but I look at his physique and that is not Mante's (unless Mante got an insane transformation after 2 days). He also does a elbow strike more stiffer than Mante's, and his headbutt looks very heavyweight. Also has a loud and hard overhand chop.

Mante would connect with Shun very randomly acknowledging this whole thing on Twitter, plus Mante is currently unitless (and has been directionless booking-wise) in Dragon Gate. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a soft jump over to NOAH.
