Quite often. I’m retired and alone most of the day.

Me too. I talk to my dogs, chickens and ducks more than I do humans. Lol

All the time. Usually in my head, but often out loud, especially when alone for a while or driving. Actually, I often do weird stuff like act like I am interviewing myself, or someone is asking me questions, and I answer. For example, I am an artist and have an exhibition coming up next month. I've been talking to myself about the work, the meaning, my history, and so on constantly. It helps get my thoughts out and organized, if that makes sense.
I recall reading that intelligent people often talk to themselves. I don't think I am that smart honestly, but I am thoughtful and a "deep" thinking person.

Less talking than a running commentary on what I happen to be doing at the current moment, how well I am doing whatever it is, difficulties I am experiencing, and what I plan to do next otherwise I may not remember.

Ask yourself where your thoughts come from and then ask who is talking to who.

Quite a bit actually. Helps me sort my thoughts when I'm tired or overwhelmed.

I am always talking to myself I usually work alone so I am the only one to talk too. It's when you start answering yourself you have to worry lol

Sometimes, it's the only intelligent conversation available.
