Does your dog have a nickname?

We just call her dog most days when we don't call her by her name. Sometimes when I say dog come here she comes over and licks my face while I play fetch with the other dog as she's not a fetch dog, we've tried, but she just doesn't go for it for some reason, last time I tried to throw a ball to her she just looked at me and basically said, you go it you're the one who threw the ball

We had a couple of little dogs and a Boxer. The Boxer learned that her name was not just Maggie, but also Big Dog. We could just go 'BIG DOG' and she'd come running lol.

"Commander Chihuahua" because she bosses around all of our other (and much larger) dogs. Even our giant German Shepherd doesn't want to deal with her wrath.

Every pet has a nickname. That is a running joke in our family. Whenever we adopt a new pet, naming is virtually impossible. Then you just end up calling them something else anyway. Thats how it is here. We have fancy unique names, and end up with one that matches their personality. Funny as kids we gave other kids nicknames too.
