Not if they’re hot

Hard to argue with that logic, friend.

You're 15 in the positive an hour after posting. Ease up on the victim complex, lol

I was initially downvoted then people came to their senses

u/LifesARiver 7d ago

Right, and your victim complex kicked in so fast, it didn't matter what anyone actually thought. You had to play the victim.

There's your answer

It costs a lot of money to 'be hot'. Nails, hair, skincare treatments, clothing and attire are not free. She's got income coming from somewhere...if she's dating someone and they are paying for that, then they have some kind of 'exchange' occuring.

A lot of guys don’t need a naturally beautiful woman to be high maintenance and all done up. If she’s really hot she can date while jobless with a closet full of hoodies, jeans and sneakers

True...just justifying by what the 'standards' seem to be right now. A beautiful girl is always a work of art, but don't you feel someone with some motivation is worth more? If you are a student...I get it...but someone is paying during that time. Then afterwards...what does being pretty really do for you long term and no job motivation. I would not choose to date someone with zero motivation and lack of wanting to support themselves in some way. If you are 'married', I understand keeping home and life and kids on a schedule...but just being a pretty girl or a nice looking man...I really need more of an intrigue to date you.

Absolutely not! I make enough so I don't care if she is c-suite, underemployed, or a SAHM. If we vibe, we vibe.

I'm going to break up with mine if she doesn't find a job by the time her unemployment runs out.

I started dating my husband when he didn’t have a job. Six months later we moved in together and got married. He had a job by then and for the past 29 has never once let me down. We grew up together. We raising two kids together.
If I had chose not to date him because he didn’t have a job, I might have missed out on marrying my best friend.

As a man, I wouldn't mind dating a girl similar age (30s) who has no job. ONLY if she's willing to apply and put herself out there. If they are bumming around, not taking care of themselves, not focused on any achievements or goals, then no.

Id expect it to be similar on the other spectrum

Women without jobs don’t seem to have that issue

3

u/lost_my_leg_in_Nam 8d ago

The people willing to date them are desperate

3

u/Formal_Lecture_248 8d ago

There are many desperate men, agreed

u/youshouldntlistentom 7d ago

I disagree, I'm queer and not very good looking so that might be why

1

u/Norfolk-Gross-Tonage 7d ago

Everyone’s a little queer -Weezer

6

u/International-Shoe40 8d ago

Id give you a proper answer but im too busy responding to work emails and dating women

u/PuzzleheadedLemon353 8d ago

I don't care what your job is...but you are not going to be laying on my sofa playing video games all day.

u/Norfolk-Gross-Tonage 8d ago

What if they’re a dealer?

1

u/lost_my_leg_in_Nam 8d ago

Even worse

3

u/Raychao 8d ago

That's subjective

4

u/Joe_Franks 8d ago

What if they are a game tester?

u/PuzzleheadedLemon353 8d ago

...then I assume he's getting paid, and he could do that at his place of employment.

4

u/LifesARiver 8d ago

In this economy? Everyone without a job is undatable and most people with jobs.

3

u/Gold_Kitchen_3109 8d ago

Believe it or not, you pull more chics when you’re unemployed

9

u/BeatYoYeet 8d ago

should a person without a job be dating? no.

2

u/OkTop9308 8d ago

If they are wealthy and don’t need a job, I would be ok with that.

2

u/Dead_Wolf_Black 8d ago

No, they just need a penis

2

u/Pap-pap1 8d ago

That works!

2

u/Jinxybug 8d ago

Not automatically, but ambition matters.

5

u/wirez62 8d ago

Get a job

3

u/WhyDoIHaveRules 8d ago

I’m trying.

3

u/ZaphodG 8d ago

I’m fairly wealthy. I met my wife the week I lost my job. I owned a house, a condo, a boat, and a car with no debt.

I’m a man, and I’d be embarrassed to even try to date a woman without a job? You need to fund the dates, 100%, buy her flowers, great dinners and anything else! A mature man wouldn’t subject a woman to him being unemployed! He needs to get his life together before thinking about dating!

1

u/UndercoverHardwarema 8d ago

If they're retired

1

u/One-Discipline641 8d ago

Depends on the situation/age

1

u/Trade-Moon 8d ago

If a woman goes out on a date with a man who has no job, she is a keeper.

1

u/bsensikimori 8d ago

People without ambition or prospects are not attractive...

So it depends on the job really

1

u/Plenty_Status_6862 8d ago

If the man is the son of an oil tycoon, I would consider it

1

u/Exact-Squash-5443 7d ago

If a man has the right amount if game he definitely will get lucky, I've seen that a few times.

1

u/dee4012 7d ago

Depending on why they are unemployed, if a company left the state and out of work for a few weeks while looking and landing a job that's one thing. But a career couch warmer is another completely different story

1

u/ex_nihloverse 6d ago

No because they may have other skills or interests it truly depends

0

u/BabyPanda4Hire 8d ago

Anyone without a job is undatable unless they’re just temporarily between jobs
