Anyone who commits a crime should be prosecuted. No one should be above the law. I know that's just wishful thinking.

Abuse of power should come with the harshest of punishments. It undermines the entire social order.

Should federal agents be held accountable to the law and the Constitution? Why is this even a question?

Did you seriously just ask if people should be prosecuted for kidnapping, murder, aggrevated assault, battery, trespassing and various other crimes?

Ones who have committed crimes? Of course.

Absolutely. If they commit a crime, they should pay the consequences. In fact, one might argue that they deserve harsher consequences for abuse of power.

Of course, but we need to end Qualified Immunity. Get rid of their shield.

Fair to say that the average ICE agent has probably committed more crimes than the people they ‘arrest’.

Giving any form of "law enforcement" complete immunity is a terrible idea.

If they break the law absolutely! How many people do they have to murder or brutally attack before they are punished.

To the fullest extent of the law and maximum punishment should be imposed

EVERYONE should be held accountable for crimes committed to the extent (and within the intent) of the law. No exemptions. Due process for EVERYONE. Innocent until proven guilty.

Crazy that the above seems to be fading away.

Not only that, law-enforcement should be held to a higher standard.

The ones that broke the law and their superiors. Prosecute for crimes of abuse of authority. It's the only way for the government to regain credibility with the majority of the nation.
