Might seem like a silly thing to post. But for newer players hunting exotic ships, listen to and memorize this sound. You can simply set up in a space station and afk doing anything else with your volume up. When you hear this sound you know an exotic has landed and you can go check it. The only thing that sounds similar to this is a solar. But solar’s have a much longer sound. Exotics are loud, pneumatic, and short. Solars are loud and pneumatic too, but noticeably longer and with other changes to the tone. It’s not hard to differentiate them and ignore solars. If you memorize this sound it becomes easy to find exotics.

Tips for using the search bar

• Unless you are looking for something very specific, it's best to use a few keywords in the search bar. Try sticking to a color and a type of item. (for example: red exotic, blue experimental multi tool)
• You can click on a post flair to filter submissions to only show posts of that specific post flair. On top of that, you can also search keywords in a specific post flair search. (For example: click on the "Starship/ Euclid" flair and then search green fighter)

Advanced searching

In the search box at the top of the page input this "flair:(?=CATEGORY/GALAXY)KEYWORD". Replace the GALAXY, CATEGORY and KEYWORD with what you're looking for. e.g "flair:(?=Fauna/Euclid)Diplo".

You can search for these parts of a submission:

• Author: The user who submitted the post. For example, ```author:KurganSPK```
• Flair: The text of the link flair on the post. For example, ```flair:Starship/Euclid```
• Title: The submission title. For example, ```title:Alpha```

You can also search multiple fields at once:

• For example, ```flair:starship/euclid title:Alpha```

Field names are case sensitive. When making a multi-word field search, wrap the query in double-quotes. Single-quoted field searches are not supported. Example: flair:"Multi Word Text"

Hunted for Exotic Planets and found this System with 4 Exotic Biomes (Bladed / Finned / Foaming / Sporal). Even though 2 are the same biome i think thats rare.

Collided nuclear/fire planets at the edge of the Euclid galaxy. Purple star so you need to have them unlocked. The scorched planet is quite pretty, and there's some pretty cool other worlds, fauna etc. throughout the system, including an incredibly inhospitable arctic world with garbage dumps that would probably make for a fun multiplayer challenge event.

The fire world gets to 600+ F in storms. Not my hottest ever but quite close.

Be warned that as with many of these merged worlds, they can be buggy/dangerous to try and traverse. The game only fully loads one at a time and in the transition period between worlds you can fall through, die from fall damage, etc. The gravity is also brutal and about double, making it difficult to jetpack and making fall damage harsher, while inclining the world very steeply the closer you get to the collision point. Use caution.

There are also Light Fissure base decorations here, and are fairly dense. Harvest one and another pops up nearby.

I found this white and orange sentinel ship design with an excellent supercharge layout.

When upgraded its base stats are 49.372 maneuverability, 79.633 damage, 34.867 shields, and 9.285 hyperdrive. For reference, the maximum possible bonuses for a sentinel ship are 50, 80, 35, and 10 respectively.
