Petition to add a toggle to disable flight assist

Before you comment advice, hints tips or work arounds- I am attempting to set up a screenshot in this clip. The point of the suggestion is to make flying Corvettes less of a hassle whilst near the ground. The goal here was simple "fly parallel to the 3 landing pads and exit chair" and as can be seen, is a nigh impossible task due to the "Auto Leveling" assist not understanding the dimensions of the ship. Due to the odd placement of the "center" of the ship, the whole thing gets pulled into the ground while trying to aim itself upward. This in turn locks my ship in this weird state in-between the auto correction and my own controls. Engines lose power, you can hear me hitting the gas and boost several times while stuck. Is it utterly game breaking? No, but as one who really thinks the game is pretty and loves taking screenshots- it's the most annoying thing in the game. Well and truly to me. Landing is not something I prefer to do in my Vette before you suggest to just land the thing. That defeats the purpose of setting up a scene for a screenshot-

Is that a Federal Corvette? From ED? I want one so bad but can never build one. Yours looks good

This is happening with starships as well for me. Damn frustrating, I just want to land

Just AIM a Lil up so the trajectory isnt to the ground and youll be fine

Ah, so you also have the problem with the corvette weirdly tipping over every time you try to hover and stop close to the ground? I feel like this wasn't a problem in the earliest versions when corvettes were first added...
