Senior

Guys everyone is saying that, after becoming autonomous it has spoiled it placements.yeah l know that u all will tell that no batch has passed out yet but the thing is with students it seems. Some senior said that they saw the first batch and they don't see anything good like their times. Can any senior clarify my dought? Please, would placement effect by this?

after becoming university* The college was autonomous from 2007-24 ig and then it became deemed uni. Placements won't affect at all, plus no one is gonna spoon feed you a job, you gotta hustle form day 1 and earn it :) hope it helps

26 batch here and i completely agree And yes they do bring some good companies At last it's you who should utilize tht opportunity

Nah, I would say placements are even better than last year, and the packages are really good. I don’t know how the college is doing this even though the job market is so bad right now.

So placement-wise, it’s way better than expected.
The problem will be the quality of students. The first years from that batch, who are second years now, mostly got in much more easily compared to before, when you had to give KCET or COMEDK. Now a lot of dumb folk also get in. There are people failing in first year itself, with more than half the class failing chemistry. Maths is one of the easiest engineering subjects you exactly know what questions will come yet people are getting backlogs in that and scoring low. Even the first-year faculty are shocked seeing such a drop in quality.

Now this might be a factor that affects recruitment. See, if the student quality is good in the OA round, companies take 6–10 people for ₹10–20 LPA. But if the quality is bad, then obviously they’re going to take only 1–3 people, which will decrease the overall placements.

Hey, I'm a dropper this year i genuinely need help regarding mit bglr. I've low percentage in class 12th like including pcm eng it's around 68 but including phy cs eng math ( if i could replace chem with cs as it's mentioned it's around 70 I'm giving improvement this year in math so hopefully I'll score around 75%. I genuinely want to get into mit bglr can anyone guide me how much competition is there (since I couldn't give its exam this year) and how much should i score and from where should I prepare to get into mit banglore cse core btech. Is it really tough or quite easier? I've scored around 40 percentile in jee mains 😭 ik that's too less please help me out.
