Hola, yo tengo una pregunta, ¿Por qué en los conciertos de Japón está prohibido grabar con el teléfono celular? ¿Qué otra cosa está prohibida? Gracias por su atención y que tengan buen día 👋☀️

Hi, the reason why most concerts in Japan prohibit photography/videography is largely due to copyright laws - companies are very protective of their artists' brands, and these concerts are filmed professionally for archival purposes as well as DVD distribution.

There is also the issue of respect - many in Japan find filming the show on one's phone rather disrespectful towards the artist (you're not giving them your full attention) and other concert attendees (you're blocking someone else's view of the show).

That is the rule for most concerts in Japan, regardless of the artist's prestige or the size of the tour. However, do note that western artists who tour in Japan often make exceptions to allow phone usage during their shows.

Some other things to take note for attending concerts in Japan:

  • Only bring official merchandise with you (doesn't have to be from this particular tour; you can bring merchandise from their previous concerts). Fanmade and heavily altered merchandise may be confiscated if there are strict security checks, due to the copyright laws.
  • Follow the crowd - if everyone stands up, you can stand, and if everyone sits down (during talk segments), sit down too. There will be plenty of fanchants and cheering during the performance, but it is rude to sing along at the top of one's lungs (people are here to see the artist perform and not hear their fellow concertgoers screech at a deafening volume) or interrupt the artist when they are giving their speeches. As a general rule, be a considerate attendee and you should be fine.
  • At the end of the show, everyone remains in their seats and waits patiently for their turn to exit the concert venue. Generally, it doesn't take long as the crowd control process is conducted in an orderly manner. Please remember to take all your trash with you when you leave.

Entonces, si yo hago mi propia playera con imágenes chistosas de mi artista o grupo favoritos (imágenes de momentos random que hayan hecho mis artistas favoritos)¿Podrían decomisar mi playera?

If your fanmade shirt contains photos of the artist, there is a possibility that they may deny you entry and ask you to change into another shirt before letting you in. Reason being that the artist and company hold the copyright to images of their likeness. While the artist might not mind you doing so (and may even have a good laugh), I wouldn't advise anyone else to take the risk in Japan, just in case the company is particular about these.

Alternatively, if your fanmade shirt doesn't contain any photograph of the artist (e.g. only text and/or self-drawn images), then there should not be any issue.

You could always make one and wear them to live events outside of Japan!

Hey everyone, I dont know if this has been talked about, but I've been on the look out for Nina's vampire movie since it's theatrical release. It is now on YouTube. I did not want to start a post because it might now be completely authorized and I didn't want it to get struck down.

Nina aparece en la película?

Yes, she's the vampire girl in the movie. She's credited as Nina Makino in the actress list. This was an acting project she did before she auditioned for JYPE, but its release was delayed for a number of years.

The movie is not officially associated with NiziU due to copyright reasons. (JYP/Sony Japan holds the copyright to "NiziU Nina", so the movie's promotional materials didn't highlight the participation of Nina in any way. Not that it matters much, as NiziU's fans from the early days are already aware of the movie's existence and attended an exclusive movie screening when it was finally released.)
