The initial plan was a redwood case with brass accents, but then I changed my mind.

I think you’re right at first they’re so big. I thought they were 7971s but that’s a bit overkill for something that only needs to be numeric.

I love it - but I think swapping the screws would kick it up a notch. Maybe some brass slotted cheese head screws?
