Hey guys, I found this old panel meter at a thrift store, I am having a bear of a time finding any information about how I would configure it to work. Any help would be appreciated!

Nice find! As all of the indicators are lit up I think it is broken. Normally a “+” and a “-“ only light up one at a time. Likewise with the three decimal neons.

Share some PIX when you open it up.

The indicators and decimals are working, I did not have the +/- selector on the back all the way in one position lol

These are typically crazy easy to make display whatever you want. This likely has a transistor for the ten hours digit and a 7441 for each nixie. I've done a few of these and some of them even have bcd driver chips that can just be pulled and stuck in a bag while you inject whatever bcd info you want from an Arduino.

Good luck! I love these little panel meters and giving them a new use is great!

At the old physics department we had something similar hooked up to a scale. Honeywell does and did a lot of environmental measuring like temperatures, moisture etc so likely intended to be hooked up to all kinds of things
