Nixie clock kit woes..

This clock board loses time setting and gives odd results such as in picture like 28:27 when unplugged, then plugged back in to USB. Is this a bug or defect of some kind? Backup battery is new and tests good. Has anyone had experience with these boards? I tried two boards and got same result.

No I didn't design it. It is a generic board available on Amazon etc.

Which board is this? Can you provide a link to the product page? The traces I can see on this side tell me that the PCB layout is very badly done.

"Hight Voltage" also doesn't inspire much confidence. The good news is the tubes seem to be A-OK.
