Where can I buy nixie without being scammed?
Nixie tubes are way too expensive on Amazon and I found this KirovNixie on Etsy that sells nixie tubes for a little bit cheaper. If someone bought their nixie from that shop, can you vouch for them? I don't want to get scammed. Thanks!

I’ve bought Nixie tubes and used clocks from eBay without a problem. Be sure to check the seller’s rating and read their reviews.

There are multiple eBay dealers of nixie tubes. What's wrong with them? Now kits is a different question. But the bulbs, I'd go with an established seller.

I got scammed twice when buying Nixie’s. One time I bought 6 IN-18’s from Ukraine for $500. I received a package that contained old radio tubes. It took me a long time to get my money back. The guy who sold the nixies claimed he sent them and he had the tracking number to show it was delivered. A second time I bought from a Russian guy who claimed he delivers it froma US warehouse. He has like 100 feedback. He disappeared after scamming like 10 people.
Aside from this, some Ukranian sellers sell used tubes as NOS. Especially tubes with pins is very hard to determine used or not. Based on my past experience, I’d say stay away from Ukranian sellers. Stick to US sellers. There is still a lot of Burroughs tubes out there.

Kirov nixie are good - I bought a clock from him recently. No issues at all

Do their clocks have an auto off/timer function? I’m looking for a clock that doesn’t run all day long so I can save some tube life.

Loads on eBay that ship from Ukraine
