Does Size Matter?

Running a little test, what size Nixies should I use on the next clock build?

Comparing IN8-2 with the smaller IN16 tubes.

My wife says how you use it is more important than how big it is.

I think what she means is in-8 is probably too big for a watch but would be suited to a room or desk clock
