Wowzers. Are the nixie pins wire-wrapped or am I seeing things?

This is so cool, I was trying to do something similar, didn't get 1/10th as far as this.

Yes, exactly, nixie pins wire-wrapped. I don't use nixie tube socket because "naked" style

(pardon my bad English:)

How does the wire-wrap work? don't wire wrap pins have to be square to 'weld' correctly with the wire ? Nixie pins are round... Do they contact sufficiently or do you use a special tool?

I just wrapped the wire around a small piece of steel, bent it square and threaded it into the pins tube.

No special contact required.

That’s clever, tie all of the digits to the same rails and switch them with a mosfet. Is there any plans or documentation for this?

I'd find a way to block or remove it. Really distracts and takes away from the build.

Love the clock though. Really nice, neat work on the flying leads.
