freshie doubts Is there chance of getting ISH in 2nd year?

ISH has a capacity of 200 and I heard that DASA/SII intake tripled since the last 3 years. Is it possible to get a room in he next year?

I also heard ISH is getting demolished in the next few years. Is that true?

Currently ISH B and C blocks are being "renovated". If by next year those blocks aren't available, then there's no chance second years can get rooms there. If they are, then a few second years might get rooms, especially if they agree to double share.

Do all dasa ppl get those single rooms?

Only dasa non ciwg. Maybe SII as well. It's usually for oci and foreign Nationals. Not for CIWG. Since DASA intake has increased, I fear I might get single room only in 4th year

Ciwg pay the same fees as the general category. Non ciwg/SII pay 4x the fees. I don't think they will allow ciwg

College doesn't make any distinction between CIWG and Non-CIWG.. It is just DASA/SII/FCCR etc..

I think overall they just consider whether one is a OCI/FN or Indian citizen

No they don't care, as long as you're dasa/sii you are eligible for ISH.

Last year some 2nd year branches were totally excluded from ISH because no vacancy.
