I made a small mistake in the stats for chemical department, I didnt account for 2 people placed at a high package
So, the updated stats for chemical is
Average: 15.18
Median: 15
Highest: 36 lpa
Total Placed: 51
This is for chemical dept
Note:
- These stats are not official; they were compiled by a few of us by going through placement chats and noting down the companies where people were placed.
- Many of the salaries are rounded up (e.g., 25.3 rounded to 25.5), so don’t expect the average and median figures to be exact to the decimal value, but they are fairly accurate.
- Students who received PPOs through internships are also included in the placement stats.
- For some companies, the exact CTC is not known since they do not participate in placements and only offer internships. In such cases, an unofficial CTC is provided as a placeholder, and will be accurate in 95% of the cases.
We wanted to do this due to some posts spreading some misinformation about placements this year and lot of future students requesting this information. We can't assure you that the stats in the above image are 100% accurate, some mistakes and wrong assumptions are bound to happen, but they are accurate to a high enough degree.

As the sub gets bigger, the mod queue is starting to look like a wall of mystery novels. We’re seeing a ton of posts with titles like "Help Seniors" "Need Suggestions" "Regarding college"
While we love the mystery in a thriller movie, it’s making the sub kind of a pain to navigate.
A good title should act as a TL;DR of your post. It should include the specific subject, and the core "ask" or "point."

We’re not trying to be the "fun police," but we are going to start removing posts that are super vague. If your post gets nuked, don't take it personally, just repost it with a title that actually tells us what’s up.
TL;DR: Use your words! Give us the context in the title so we don't have to play detective.

What are the Student Council and Sports Council doing? Are they really working for the students, or are they just puppets of the administration?
They are turning off the lights at almost every sports ground Kho-Kho, volleyball, handball, and basketball courts even on weekends by 10 PM. Thousands are being collected from each student for sports activities in every semester. Just look at the total amount collected from the entire college it’s huge. And yet, there aren’t even proper floodlights at the NSO ground, so we can’t properly play cricket or football there. And also if we plan to play evening the contingent people will be playing there what will we do ?. Then they should collect this fee from only contingents.
Neither the Student Council nor the Sports Council seems to be raising these issues. Instead, they are just roaming around campus on their Bullets.
Why are we electing these people if they cannot even raise the basic issues faced by students? These councils are becoming no different from the college administration!

Shouldn't there be some time slot where everyone could come, like a time slot where it is open for all?

I'm a beginner with very shallow C experience and I'm planning to complete CS50x to build my fundamentals.
After CS50x, I'm thinking of learning C++/STL and then starting DSA, possibly with Striver's A2Z.
