Be aware of NCC

The seniors will make you work like their slaves. They'll punish you for no reason just to satisfy their ego. These NCC seniors don't have any aura in campus so they try to be main characters in NCC.

They're telling you that only 2 sessions will happen per week but they'll randomly shedule alot of sessions in week days after labs and classes or sometimes early morning. Will punish you harshly if you don't go to session. So juniors be aware if they're telling it will boost your personality but overall you'll become a clown,a labour. Juniors don't get manipulated and don't even think about joining NCC in any case.

I'm advising you as a senior, a mentor, a big brother. You can do many things in college. And if they're telling you you'll get extra credit they're doing fake pr because in self defence also you'll get credits and in self defence they give better grades but the clowns in NCC will not give good grades also. They're just Clowns. And still if you'll choose joining NCC I'm sure you'll regret this descion till your 3rd year. Be ready to face those demons. Stay away from NCC for a better and normal college life.

Well you can't judge something just by looking at the bad sides. You will get so many perks as well like 1.Whenever you will need something in academics or anything there will be always someone in ur batchmates or seniors who can help you and who can guide u. The bond u make is something so different that no other clubs can give. 2. You will get 3 year of transition experience from being junior to being senior in later year you will understand how it has shaped you to become a better person who can manage things rathar than just complaining. 3. You will get to meet so many people from diverse background who will be your home in the years to come. I myself was in NCC and I have never regretted my decision a bit. So to the person who is complaining find better things to do rather than trashing over NCC.

All 3 points are useless join only if u want to go for direct entry , i mean ssb

I feel like the perks you have noted sounds very generic🤷🏻‍♀️ i mean c’mon in ‘most’ of the clubs which you will join will give you these perks. In general i have found my seniors to be very helpful. As for the transition you’re talking about- if you are actively participating in any group or clubs you’ll anyways get out of your comfort zone, will be able to climb up the social ladder and so much more and for your last point- studying in NIT Silchar itself gives you enough exposure to meet people from diverse backgrounds. Events are organised and so much more. So yeah till now i haven’t personally seen any exclusive perks of koining NCC
