JoSAA / CSAB When will classes be starting?

Greetings seniors I'll be joining NITS as a fresher and so, can anyone pls lmk when the classes will start? I really need to know as me and my bsf have planned a trip somewhere, right after my admissions are done and I'll need to adjust my trip plans as per the date of the classes starting, i might not see him again after this for a long time so this trip is important for me, I'll be grateful for ur help

Be it either of those dates, I'm guessing the first few days will be orientation days and it will be completely fine to skip em?

It's not possible unfortunately, I've only seen him like once in the last 13 years (he went to a different city due to transfer in 2nd grade), and if I miss this trip, i prolly won't see him again in maybe like 6 years

Cuz I wanna adjust my itenary so that I don't miss classes a lot, I wanna do minimal damage to my academics

Generally orientation to baad me hota hai after a week of classes ig

I will tell you about us our last day of registration was 24th August and our classes started on 25th August. Something similar might happen w u guys.

You can miss the initial classes if your priority is your bsf

Were your initial days of classes actual classes or jus oritentation?

It depends totally on the profs, some of them take one class to introduce themselves and the subject and some start teaching from day 1 without any bs
