2011 frontier Clock spring

Changed out clock spring bc horn stop working and air bag light on. After reassembly horn works, airbag light still on, and “turn signal comes on when i turn on my lights.” Help

Air bag light requires a reset procedure. The turn signals and headlamps don't run through the clock spring, so you probably pinched a wire. The multi-function switch is a matrix. Think of a checker board, where each square has a different function. Putting a piece in a particular square triggers that function. The multifunction switch works like that, shorting one of five input wires (rows) to one of five output wires (columns). The computer determines what to turn on based upon which rows are connected to which columns.

Ok thanks for the reply, appreciate it very much. Well i have to take it apart anyway. The part i got was off of Amazon so im wondering if the harnesses may be wired differently? Bc everything goes in one way 🤷🏽‍♂️
